Western wind foundation scholarship
INAUGURAL AWARD YEAR 2020
Our first scholarship award effort has been spearheaded in 2020 with seed funding from the Western Wind Foundation. This award was created for college-bound students from the Eastern Coachella Valley majoring in any field, with priority given to students applying to art majors. The initial fund supported 10 unrestricted awards of $250 to selected applicants. Thanks to our community supporters, additional donations on social media for Giving Tuesday grew the scholarship fund to 26 awards in total.
